Entrepreneurship Week is a global event that brings together around 160 countries in November each year around the theme of entrepreneurship.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week aims to inspire entrepreneurial vocations and to bring together, once a year, all the scattered initiatives in the area of business development advice and encouragement.
Since 2011, the University of Geneva (UNIGE), under the leadership of its Unitec technology transfer office, the Directorate General for Economic Development, Research and Innovation (DG DERI), the Federation of French-speaking Enterprises Geneva (FER Geneva), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the HES-SO Geneva and GENILEM mobilize with many public and private partners as well as student associations to organize the Geneva edition of the World Entrepreneurship Week and offer a multitude of appointments to spark creativity and entrepreneurial desire.
This Geneva edition is part of the “Free Your Ideas” initiative, a week that aims to create a platform of support, exchange of ideas and networking for all those who wish to carry out a project or innovate. The purpose of this initiative within UNIGE is to make students aware of the opportunities offered by entrepreneurship and to provide them with tools and practical advice that enable them to realize an idea, whatever their training.
Thus, the International Management School Geneva will support the participation of its students enrolled in the program “Excubator”, which aims to reveal two annual entrepreneurial projects at the Contest of the best idea to be held in Uni-Mail on Thursday 21 November at 18h.
As part of this week of entrepreneurship, the IMSG will also host a workshop on Tuesday, November 19 in its premises on the subject of “Neuro-Manager”. For more information: info@imsgeneva.ch
