Accreditations and Memberships

The purpose of the Swiss Private School Register is to certify that the registered private schools provide a good educational service and to confirm their professionalism and credibility to the public, to the authorities, and to customers.The Foundation protects the good reputation of Switzerland and the private educational institutions as education locations.

As a student or parent, The Swiss Private School Register allows you to check whether a specific Education Institution has reached our rigorous accreditation criteria and is recognised for its high quality. Its members’ list is used as a reference by the Federal Office for migration and the Swiss Diplomatic Representations abroad in the process of getting the students’ visa.


European Foundation For Management Development (EFMD) is an international, not-for-profit, membership organisation of business schools and corporations. It is recognized globally as an accreditation body for quality & impact assessment in management with established accreditation services for business schools.


The International Management School Geneva is a member of the AACSB, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This association, which holds the eponymous accreditation, rewards and supports higher education establishments in the quality of their management training. As a member of the AACSB, it becomes a player in a global network rich in 800 Business Schools, Public Universities and private sector companies which is based on the sharing of knowledge and good practices, in the ultimate goal of bringing business and managerial study programs to excellence.


Organization promoting professional skills in the field of business management, the FEP organizes examinations with a view to obtaining a certificate or a higher diploma. The IMSG is accredited by the FEP to provide preparatory courses for the examination of the Federal Specialist Certificate in SME Management.


IMSG has become a fide accredited testing center. This is a language test that assesses everyday language skills in Switzerland. The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) recommends this test as part of the naturalization procedure and the obtaining of a residence or establishment permit because, unlike foreign language tests, it takes reality into account. It assesses how the person "gets along" linguistically in everyday situations. The cost of the fide test is CHF 250.- maximum.

As a B Corp in education, IMSG is among the companies leading a global movement for a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.

B Corp certification means that a company has been verified as meeting B Lab's high standards for social and environmental impact, has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and demonstrates accountability and transparency by publicly disclosing this performance record in its B Corp profile. By achieving certification, a B Corp company is committed to a framework of continuous improvement. To maintain their certification, companies must undergo the assessment and verification process every three years to prove that they continue to meet the B Lab standards - which are themselves constantly improving, thanks to the ongoing input of expert stakeholders.


As part of its recognition by the Swiss Private Schools Register, the IMSG has chosen a rigorous certification based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) model adapted to the needs of Business Schools and more particularly of Swiss UAS. This reflects a desire to ensure the fundamental principle of continuous improvement. The IMSG thus enters the very closed circle of higher education institutions (UNIGE, IFAGE) benefiting from this recognition.


eduQua is the first quality label in Switzerland to meet the needs of continuing education providers. It promotes transparency and comparability of educational programs, and helps to ensure the quality of continuing education opportunities in Switzerland. The IMSG thus meets the quality standards required, significantly strengthening its academic legitimacy on Swiss territory.


Association within the meaning of art. 60 ff of the Swiss Civil Code, which has set itself the objective of managing brands and labels since 1917. The crossbow, which is its emblem, embodies the "Swiss" brand in the same way as the white cross on a red background. It is associated with William Tell who shot Bailiff Gessler at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries with this same weapon. He has since been considered a Swiss defender of freedom. The crossbow is now becoming the symbol of values, of trust such as quality, safety, reliability, a sense of reality and independence for both businesses and consumers.


Responsible for employment in Geneva: the IMSG labeled by the Cantonal Employment Office. The 1+ label for all is intended for companies which hire (with equal skills) people registered with the OCE. It is a recognition awarded to private or public economic actors. Since its creation, the International Management School Geneva has always favored the hiring of employees from the Geneva area. This is how it contributes to the fight against long-term unemployment.

The IMSG is a member of the Fédération des Entreprises Romandes. Employers' association, FER is the only inter-professional organization of employers in French-speaking Switzerland to be consulted by the Federal Council (Swiss government) on draft laws. It brings together 27,000 companies, including 9,000 independent, as well as 80 professional associations.


The CDE is a business club founded on May 10, 1994 by 130 leaders. Its objective is to bring together different economic players in the Geneva basin. Politicians, heads of public and private companies, students can meet each other for breakfasts, conferences and "speed business dating". With this unique opportunity to network, students can develop their employability, the cornerstone of the IMSG educational project.


The International Management School Geneva is a member of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services. With more than 2,500 members representing all sectors of activity, the CCIG is one of the most influential private economic associations in Geneva. It has a unique network of contacts and promotes business networking through various events that are opportunities for quality networking, benefits that directly benefit IMSG students.

At the service of small and medium-sized enterprises, the SVC today constitutes, with more than 3,100 members from all sectors and regions, one of the most important networks for entrepreneurs in Switzerland.


The leading Franco-Swiss business network, the CCI France Suisse is an institution that brings together the vast majority of French establishments listed in Switzerland and many Swiss companies maintaining commercial relations with France. Founded in 1894, it is the oldest foreign Chamber of Commerce established in Switzerland. The CCI France Suisse is an association governed by local public utility law, with a bilateral vocation, bringing together more than 800 companies (Swiss and French), representing a total of more than 4,500 business contacts. The CCI France Suisse has a team of 17 employees trained in the specificities of the two markets and a regional presence based on a head office in Geneva and branches in Zurich and Basel.


The International Management School Geneva is a member of the SAQ association. Since 1994, the SAQ has been the national partner organization of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). It offers the EFQM "Levels of Excellence" Recognition program as well as a comprehensive training system for Business Excellence.


IMSG actively participates in the promotion of LEO Club Geneva, association member of the Lions Club which brings together young people aged 18 to 32 who share common values, with the mission of developing social projects and creating human links in the City.
