On Wednesday, 1st November 2017, Benki Piyako, “Keeper of the forest, conscience awakener”, political and spiritual leader of the Amazonian Ashaninka community, was finishing a tour in Europe where he pleaded for the people’s rights. He thus met Luc Barthassat, State Councilor in charge of the environment department, Transport and Agriculture (DETA) at the “Geneva company leaders circle”, for a most exciting debate on the theme: “Forest, an economic, social, environmental and sacred challenge”.
The students of the International Management School Geneva had the opportunity to attend this event and exchange with Geneva’s economic actors. The entire IMSG team would like to thank the “Geneva company leaders circle” for organizing this fascinating meeting and its always warm welcome.
