On Tuesday 21st November 2017, at the Geneva Company Leaders Circle, the IMSG’s students had the privilege to exchange with Mr. Serge Dal Busco, State Counselor in charge of the Finance Department for Geneva’s State.
On this occasion, Mr. Dal Busco described the 2016 financial year, as a satisfying and soothing one. Debt declines, thanks to the surplus generated during this period and the self-financing investments. It is the result of a determined, calm and constant management of the state’s expenses. Henceforth, the fundamentals of public finances are sound, and alike those of the Vaud’s State in the early 2000s.
Mr. Dal Busco gave an update on his diplomatic department, including the Tax Project 17 undertaken by the Federal Council involving the Department of Finance which he chairs.
The International Management School Geneva team wishes to once again thank the Geneva Company Leaders Circle for its welcome, and Mr. Dal Busco for his time and kindness.
