As part of their Learning Expedition module, IMSG students had the opportunity to visit the “Léman Bleu” premises, a Swiss television channel founded in 1996 in Geneva. It has about thirty members of staff, including fifteen journalists. Broadcasted 24h a day and 7 days a week in all of Switzerland, it benefits from a federal concession and offers various programmes. Its weekly audience has grown sharply since September 2015 with 250,000 viewers. Since 2011, Léman Bleu has been broadcasting on TNT, cable, IPTV and its website.
« Léman Bleu » programmes combine information, entertainments, sport and culture. Two hours live programme are broadcasted from Monday to Friday then repeated every two hours. The channel also broadcasts sessions of Geneva’s City Council as well as those of the Grand Council of the Republic and Canton of Geneva.
We would like to thank the entire “Léman Bleu” team for its warm welcome and this beautiful visit!
