Matthieu DEGLAS is Head of Staff at the Interministerial Delegation of the Ministry of Overseas Territories and also a trainer in public speaking.
He holds a Master II in business law and graduated from the War College (the highest institution for training senior officers of the French armies).
He joins the Ministry of Overseas Territories in 2021, after three years working alongside a member of parliament at the National Defence and Armed Forces Committee (one of the eight standing committees of the French National Assembly).
With a solid experience in eloquence (he won many international competitions) and as founder of the Orator Studio agency, he has been training graduate students, business leaders and political figures in their personal development and communication skills for the last 5 years.
nowadays, he teaches public speaking in several schools (Science Po Paris, Université Paris Dauphine, Groupe INSEEC). At the same time, he participates as a judge in numerous eloquence competitions aiming to promote the development of public speaking in the academic and professional environments.
His commitments :
– Member of the Parliamentary XV (National Assembly and Senate rugby team ), of the XV du Tigre (Home office rugby team) and of the Racing Club Paris XV ;
– Former President of the parliamentary collaborators Association ;
– Former President of the Olivaint Conference.
