As Head of Sales, Gil Grandjean has been managing the team of the SME sales department of Swisscom in Geneva for more than 2 years, one of the main challenges of which is to promote the digital transformation of companies. Previously, he managed the Swiss subsidiary of the Ubisoft group (3rd largest video game publisher in the world) for 5 years. Accompanied by motivated and experienced employees, he has set himself the major objective of developing sales of dematerialized content and thus shortening the distribution circuit, the main consequences of which are the optimization of the margin and the Supply Chain. He joined as Senior Marketing Manager, 4.5 years earlier, in 2008 where he devoted his energy to the launch and development of the group’s flagship brands on the Swiss market. In parallel Gil sat as a member of the executive committee of the SIEA (Swiss Interactive Entertainment Association) in Zürich. From 2005 to 2008 Gil Grandjean held the position of Marketing Manager for energy-related products at Groupe E (electrical company of the Cantons of Friborg and Neuchâtel). Holder of a Federal Certificate of Marketing Specialist, Gil began his career, after obtaining a CFC in Commerce, as an SME Commercial Advisor for Publicitas (advertising agency for the Tribune de Genève and 24 Heures) in Switzerland. Romande at the age of 20.
Convinced of the importance of passing the torch to the next generation of leaders, Gil Grandjean has devoted much of his free time to professional and academic teaching since 2014 in the fields of sales, promotion, management and the distribution. Since January 2022 Gil has been directing the training of the Federal Sales Specialist Certificate within the Sales Academy by the iMSG (International Management School Geneva) where, moreover, he gives courses to Bachelor and Master students. From 2018 to 2021, Gil notably actively supported the SAWI in the reform of the Federal Examinations for Sales Specialists and Marketing Specialists as Course Director for 2018 and 2021.
