Alexandra holds a M.Sc. in Management from ESSEC in France, and an MBA from Stanford University in the USA. She started her career as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company in Germany, before working for PepsiCo’s CEO as an internal strategy consultant at the US headquarter. She then moved to strategic and operational marketing with L’Oréal in Paris, before being part of the PayPal launching team in France. After her move to Switzerland twelve years ago, Alexandra took the internet marketing lead at Migros’ online grocery store, before launching Elixir Consulting in 2015, a boutique strategy consulting company focusing on innovation and transformation. Alexandra is also a business angel for two successful Swiss Fintech startups: Monito and Sonect.
Alexandra focuses her efforts on bringing human-centered, innovative practices to organizations, leveraging a combination of Design Thinking, Change Management and innovative HR approaches and solutions. Her clients include among others the State of Geneva (15’000 employees), Vaudoise Assurances (CHF 1 B in revenues, insurances) and Syngenta (CHF 12 B in revenues, chemicals) in Switzerland.
In parallel to providing training, consulting and coaching to such organizations, Alexandra has been also part of the Stanford LEAD Executive Certificate’s teaching team since 2015, allowing executives from all parts of the world to learn how to approach and implement innovation for the benefit of their companies. Alexandra is also leading the Business Decision Support major at the Geneva University of Applied Sciences (HEG), on top of teaching Design Thinking in this institution. She is currently writing an eBook on Design Thinking, to be published on Bookboon.com in 2020.
