The beginning of the academic year will generate significant traffic on the roads of our urban area and therefore a higher risk of accidents.
Sustainable Campus and the EPFL Students Foundation (FEE) are launching today a second edition of the road safety campaign “Cohabitons” (“Let’s cohabit”), which aims at raising awareness of pedestrians, cyclists and drivers regarding mutual respect between road users, while reviewing good practices in traffic.
In addition to setting up original traffic signs you will discover as from today on the whole campus, “Cohabitons” will shortly organize safety equipment distribution actions and offer free cycling courses. The “Bike to Work” action that will take place in May-June will also be oriented towards safety issues.
Wishing you all a good start to the academic year.
